The PJ Library®, an award-winning program of the Harold Grinspoon Foundation, is seeking a dynamic, self-directed individual with knowledge of the American Jewish community to create, cultivate and steward relationships with communities and philanthropic partners across the country to expand the program.
The director of community development is expected to travel frequently and will work closely with the director of the program and The PJ Library team. Applicants with the following skills and experience preferred:
- Fundraising and development
- Marketing and sales
- Knowledge of American Jewish community and its key trends/players
- Experience with boards and committees
- Knowledgeable in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook

- Highly effective oral and written skills
- Strategic thinkers and problem solvers
- Self-directed and self-motivated
- Able to work comfortably and efficiently with a team

The PJ Library® is funded in partnership with local philanthropists and Jewish organizations.
