The Harold Grinspoon Foundation is seeking a Web Production Associate to join a growing web production and marketing team. This position will be responsible for maintaining content across HGF's suite of websites, including www.hgf.org, www.pjlibrary.org, and www.pjourway.org, and executing email communications for the Foundation's flagship program, PJ Library. This is a full-time position based at the HGF main office in Agawam, MA, reporting to the PJ Library Project Lead.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Primarily Responsible

  • Format, upload, and update web and blog content on multiple sites, including text, video, photo, and music
  • Respond to internal requests for web updates in a timely and professional manner
  • Make content changes following an established content calendar
  • Format and send e-communications to various constituencies using Constant Contact, MailChimp, and other email marketing platforms. Upload and manage constituent list
  • Identify and correct outdated or inconsistent information across all sites
  • Proactively solicit updated/timely content from all programs

As a Member of the Web Production Team

  • Work with varied internal stakeholders to design and create new web pages, as needed
  • Follow best practices when creating new content pages and maintaining site organization
  • Coordinate with in-house web and software developers, as needed
  • Work collaboratively with other web production staff

Desired Skills/Experience

  • Experience working with a content management system
  • Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Experience creating emails and templates using an email marketing platform, preferably Constant Contact and/or MailChimp
  • Fluent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop)
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics
  • Ability to prioritize and balance multiple concurrent projects
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfort working independently
  • Close attention to detail and ability to proofread and identify typos
  • Strong organizational skills
