CREATIVE COMMUNITY GRANTS PROGRAM
Through its Creative Community Grants program, the Foundation supports a broad range of cultural programs and activities that address its mission of enhancing the vibrancy of Jewish life in Western Massachusetts [Berkshire, Franklin, Hampden, & Hampshire counties].
Please review the Grant Guidelines for specific information about goals, priorities, range of awards, and to determine your eligibility before preparing an application. Note that all proposed activities must take place within the region served by the Initiative – including Berkshire, Franklin, Hampden, and Hampshire counties. There are several deadlines during the year, which are listed in the Guidelines. We recommend you apply as early as possible to allow for adequate time to coordinate and promote your program or project.
As noted in the Guidelines, you must review your project idea with the Jewish Arts & Culture Initiative (JACI) Director before submitting a proposal.
Click on links below to obtain the new grant application and guidelines documents. The document, in Microsoft WORD, can be saved, worked on, and revised as needed. Once you have a final version to submit, save a copy, and email your file, as an attachment, to the JACI Director. You can also email it in draft form for comments prior to the deadline. If you have questions or need help, please contact the director at 413-439-1941 or email dyan@hgf.org.
