Customer Service Representative

The Harold Grinspoon Foundation, located in Agawam, MA, is looking for a Customer Service Representative to provide general support for the Foundation and its flagship program, PJ Library®. This is a full-time position in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial non-profit organization.



Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
  • As part of the customer service team, respond to phone calls and emails from families subscribed to the PJ Library and PJ Our Way programs. This includes searching for and updating records in the subscriber database.
  • Provide other general office support as needed, including, but not limited to:
    • Produce and copy materials for projects, conferences, and clients
    • Prepare shipping labels for occasional packages
  • Provide broad support for events and conferences
  • Provide support for PJ Goes to Camp grants  

Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Close attention to detail
  • Calm and comfortable phone manner
  • Prior customer service experience
  • Willingness to be flexible and responsible with a variety of tasks
  • Eagerness to work as part of an administrative and customer service team
  • Superior problem-solving skills and the ability to think quickly “on your feet”
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet challenging deadlines
  • Ability to lift and move items weighing up to thirty pounds
