Web Marketing Manager

The Harold Grinspoon Foundation is seeking a talented and savvy Web Marketing Manager to join our growing team charged with supporting multiple Foundation web sites. This full-time position offers the best of both worlds – the opportunity to be involved in web marketing and business strategy, as well as the ability to work in a hands-on capacity.



The Web Marketing Manager will oversee and work with our in-house web team to support 14 websites across 6 languages. Projects include everything from larger website initiatives such as creating new templates, microsites, and interfaces, to smaller but critical tasks such as creating redirects and publishing blogposts. This position is responsible for managing the web team’s priorities and ultimately ensuring that the team is focused, goal oriented, and producing a quality product while meeting deadlines. Technical Responsibilities

Optimizing Current Websites and Products
  • Maintain and improve websites for maximum speed and scalability
  • Ensure that websites are optimized for various devices and design mobile-based features
  • Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability
  • Ensure high quality graphic standards and brand consistency
  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to ensure content is updated in a timely fashion
  • Use analytics to make data driven decisions and recommendations
  • Create and implement SEO best practices
  • Liaison between business (Content/Marketing/Operations) and IT
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies
Creating and Managing New Web Products/Solutions
  • Write functional requirement documents and guides
  • Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes
  • Develop new user-facing features and new web templates as needed
  • Collaborate with multiple teams to align business goals with web solutions and user experience for HGF programs
  • Conduct testing of completed applications, websites, and software to assess user experience
 

Administrative Responsibilities

  • Supervise the Web team and ensure all web requests completed
  • Set priorities and goals
  • Create and refine workflows and process
  • Support team members and help develop their technical skills
 

Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience managing teams and leading collaborative projects across teams and departments
  • Experience with implementing process and workflow for web maintenance and content updates 
  • Experience assessing and mentoring talent
  • Ability to prioritize and balance multiple concurrent projects
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional written and interpersonal skills
  • 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in creating and implementing UI development
  • UX design and experience preferred
  • Detailed experience with coding and the ability to troubleshoot and analyze websites using HTML, CSS and comparable languages
  • Experience creating solutions to client's personalized needs and requirements
  • Experience with the creation and management of website User Acceptance Testing
  • Fluency with Google Analytics and other digital measurement tools
  • Proficient with visual design programs such as Adobe Photoshop
  • Proficiency with popular content management systems (Kentico a plus)
