Project Manager, Advancement & Finance



Position Overview

Reporting to the Director of Advancement Operations, the Project Manager will organize, manage, and plan complex projects for the Finance and Advancement departments. The candidate will learn the HGF business processes and rules that align with the requirements of both the Finance and Advancement departments.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Lead projects for the Finance and Advancement departments. Complete assigned projects on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency.

  • Document requirements involved in the project and delegate accordingly.

  • Conducts cost analysis, estimating expected costs for the project.

  • Prepare and implement a budget based on estimates. Provide assistance with quarterly income forecasting process.

  • Conducts risk assessments; reports identified risks to management; provides recommendations for mitigation of risk (including termination of the project if appropriate).

  • Acts as a liaison between company, project stakeholders, and vendors.

  • Provide training to team members when new process is introduced.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

  • Experience working with project management platforms. Experience with Wrike preferred.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field, which may include Computer Science, Business, or Engineering, required.

  • At least three years of related experience required.

  • PMP, PgMP, CAPM, and/or comparable project management certifications highly desirable.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

  • May need to be able to move about the office to access files, operate office machinery (copy machine/printer) and lift up to 10 pounds at times.

Location:

This position is based out of the home office in Agawam, Massachusetts and at a hybrid work set-up with 60% of your time at the home office in Agawam.
