Winnie Sandler Grinspoon
Winnie Sandler Grinspoon is the president of the Harold Grinspoon Foundation, where she leads a team of outstanding professionals to create more vibrant Jewish communities and deeper connections to Jewish culture, practice, heritage, traditions, and values. The work of the foundation and its focus on joyful and deep Jewish engagement mirrors Winnie's passions and the experiences she gave to her own children, including incredible summers at Jewish summer camp, and reading Jewish stories at bedtime. It was Winnie's use of children's storybooks at her Passover seder that inspired her father-in-law, Harold Grinspoon, to create the PJ Library program, which is now a beloved part of childhood for children across the globe.
Prior to her career in philanthropy, Winnie practiced law in New York and in Boston. As a lawyer and a philanthropic leader, she is driven by the art of clear, compelling storytelling and inspired by the power of a connective vision and shared journey. In her free time, you'll find Winnie moving (running, cycling, hiking), traveling, gardening, and spending time with family and friends.
